A Neighbour & Proud Member of the District of North Vancouver
My family and I moved to North Vancouver from Winnipeg, and we quickly knew we had found somewhere special. Today, we’re grateful to call Lynn Creek home and to be building our family and future here.
I love the District for its natural beauty, strong neighbourhoods, and—most of all—its sense of community. I’m running for Council because I want to help prepare thoughtfully for the future while preserving what makes North Vancouver feel like home.
Through my work in finance and education, as well as volunteering locally and internationally, I’ve learned the importance of listening, bringing people together, and making thoughtful decisions.
When I’m not working or volunteering, you’ll find me reading the North Shore News, running with my group from North Shore Sports Medicine, or discovering a new trail or park with family and friends.
I’m proud to call the District of North Vancouver home, and I’m excited about what we can build together for generations to come.
Why I’m running
A Voice for the North Vancouver We’re Building
North Vancouver is changing. I believe we can embrace that change while preserving what makes this community feel like home.
I’m running because I want our children and future generations to have the freedom to choose whether they stay here—not be forced to leave because of affordability, transportation, or lack of opportunity.
We can do better. We can be: thoughtful about growth, creative about affordability, and intentional about building a connected community.
I’m ready to listen, speak up, and help shape a North Vancouver where everyone has a place.
Progress and preservation don’t have to be opposites.
I love how Tamara Edgar of the Beacon Community Newspaper puts it when she says:
“We don’t have to become something entirely different. We simply have to remain open to becoming more fully what we are capable of becoming.”
